Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Merchandiser role based in Jaipur. The Merchandiser will liaise with international buyers and brands, manage orders from sampling to bulk production, and ensure that product specifications, quality standards, timelines, and costs are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with design, sourcing, production, and quality teams; preparing costing, tech packs, and order sheets; and tracking approvals for fabrics,



trims, prints, and fits.

The role involves monitoring production schedules, resolving issues proactively, maintaining clear communication with clients, and sharing regular status updates. The Merchandiser will also support trend analysis, collection planning, and the development of new styles aligned with buyer requirements and market expectations.

Qualifications

- Solid Communication and Customer Service skills to manage buyer relationships, clarify requirements, and provide timely updates.
- Sales and Marketing skills to support order acquisition, develop collections that meet target markets, and present product ranges effectively.
- Retail and merchandising understanding, including product assortments, pricing awareness, and knowledge of fashion categories and trends.
- Experience in apparel or home textiles, with familiarity in sampling, production processes, and quality standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle multiple orders and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email communication; experience with ERP or production tracking tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
