Role Description
Mylas is looking for a hands-on Marketing Operations & Automation Specialist to build, manage, and scale our outbound sales infrastructure, marketing automation workflows, lead enrichment pipelines, and email deliverability systems.
This is an execution-focused role for a technical builder who enjoys connecting tools, automating repetitive tasks, improving data quality, and optimizing outbound sales operations. You will work closely with the Head of Growth and sales and marketing teams to build scalable, data-driven processes that support lead generation and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Infrastructure & Deliverability
- Configure and manage SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
- Set up and manage email mailboxes and domains.
- Monitor inbox placement, email health, bounce rates, and deliverability.
- Lead Generation & Data Enrichment
- Build targeted B2B prospect lists using Apollo and Clay.
- Create automated lead enrichment waterfalls and email verification workflows.
- Maintain accurate prospect data, segmentation, and lead quality.
- Marketing Automation & Workflow Integration
- Build and maintain workflows using n8n, Make, or Zapier.
- Integrate tools using APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
- Implement error handling, workflow monitoring, and automated data synchronization.
- Sales Operations & CRM Management
- Set up outbound campaigns and monitor replies.
- Integrate marketing tools with CRM platforms and maintain data synchronization.
- Manage field mapping, lead routing, and campaign operations.
- Reporting & Process Optimization
- Build performance dashboards to track campaign results, workflow reliability, and data quality.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow documentation.
- Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve marketing and sales operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Growth Operations, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Apollo, Clay, and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC).
- Proficiency in n8n, Make, or Zapier.
- Understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON, and workflow integrations.
- Experience with outbound sales campaigns, lead enrichment, email verification, and deliverability management.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and troubleshoot automation issues independently.
Good to Have
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Smartlead, or Instantly.
- Basic knowledge of Python or SQL.
- Experience with B2B lead generation, CRM integrations, and GTM automation.
Your First 90 Days
Days 1–30: Audit & Understand
- Audit email infrastructure, existing workflows, and outbound systems.
- Establish baseline metrics for deliverability, data quality, and campaign performance.
- Document existing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Days 31–60: Build & Automate
- Create repeatable Apollo and Clay lead enrichment workflows.
- Connect CRM systems and automate core sales operations tasks.
- Improve data synchronization, verification, and workflow reliability.
Days 61–90: Optimize & Scale
- Optimize outbound operations and automation performance.
- Build reporting dashboards for campaign metrics and data quality.
- Develop a roadmap for scaling marketing operations and automation.
