ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist the Radiology HOD in all administrative and patient care activities as delegated by the HOD
- Interface between the customers (Patients, doctors, nurses, attendants) and the department, ensuring the highest service standards of care to all.
- Ensuring implementation of compliance and regulatory processes in the department
- Supervision of patients in department to enable high satisfaction levels
- Maintaining the Monthly & daily Census
- Handling all VIP movements in the department. Quick tracking scans for key clinicians.
- Dealing with all sort of customer complaints & issues & closing them through the tracker
- Preparing the departmental manuals for ISO, NABH & JCI Audit
- Maintaining Department Roster
- Maintaining Department Leave Record
- Maintaining PNDT register & sending return every month to the PNDT office before 5th of the month




- Maintaining all departmental files
- Coordination of the Radiology Surveillance Activities and maintaining the reports for the same
- Handling the work flow of the department as & when required
- Coordinating with Biomedical & Vendors for machine breakdowns, downtime reporting and Preventive maintenance. Informing patients through call center and doctors through email regarding break down of machines and also re-commissioning after repair. Records to be maintained for the same
- Maintain the record for incident forms of different modalities on a continuous basis
- Coordinating logistics for all departmental meetings and conferences
- Responsible for entire Communication for entire department on all aspects
- Politeness and Courtesy with Patients
- Reduce Coordination work for doctors
- Soft language in mails – Mail etiquettes
- Resolve with the Helpline issues on male/female doctors
- Maintaining department TATs and record the TATs regularly
- Surveillance: Ensure timely collection of cases for sending surveillance data to outside hospitals and also ensuring that cases coming into the hospital for surveillance are reported at the earliest and sent back to the hospital for which surveillance is done.
- To supervise the proper functioning of the RIS-PACS, monitor patient TATs and manage patient and reporting queues.
- To ensure that the RIS and PACS data is integrated and merged where necessary on a daily basis
- Planning and coordinating training activities for all staff.
- Supervision of GDAs and rostering

Experience & Qualifications

- 05 to 08 years of experience in handling & Coordinating Radiology
- Healthcare is preferable
- Graduate / Postgraduate
