Role Description The AR Intern will support the accounts receivable function by assisting with tracking customer payments, preparing and updating invoices, and monitoring outstanding balances. This internship role is remote and offers exposure to financial operations in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. Day-to-day tasks include helping with debt collection follow-ups, compiling payment reports, reconciling customer accounts, and maintaining accurate records in relevant systems.



The intern will collaborate with finance and customer support teams, communicate with stakeholders regarding payment status, and contribute to process improvements. This is an internship position designed to provide practical learning experience and mentoring in AR and finance. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret payment data, identify discrepancies, and support account reconciliations.
• Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to understand AR processes, invoicing cycles, and basic accounting concepts.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to interact with internal teams and customers regarding payment statuses and issues.
• Candidates should possess skills in Debt Collection and Invoicing to assist with follow-ups, payment reminders, and accurate invoice preparation.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and basic financial tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) is beneficial.
• Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks remotely are preferred.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a digital environment and willingness to learn e-commerce operations and AR best practices is desirable.
