12+ years Role Overview Avira Digital is looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Technical Program Manager AI to lead the architecture, engineering, and delivery of digital platforms and AI-enabled solutions for global Life Sciences and Pharma customers. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on software architecture expertise, Life Sciences domain knowledge, cloud-native engineering, and technical program leadership. The role will work closely with customers, product teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, compliant, and production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across application, data, integration, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and AI components.
• Design and lead cloud-native, microservices, event-driven, and API-led architectures, primarily on AWS.
• Provide technical leadership across Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, ETL/ELT, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, CI/CD, and distributed systems.
• Lead architecture and engineering initiatives involving Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, LLM applications, LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, and MCP.
• Define reusable architecture patterns, technical standards, API contracts, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Drive technical program delivery across multiple engineering, data, QA, UX, and product teams, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives are met.
• Partner with customer stakeholders, including VP/Director-level business and technology leaders, to understand business challenges and translate them into technology solutions.
• Lead technical discovery, solution estimation, architecture reviews, build-vs-buy assessments, technical roadmaps, and implementation planning.




• Ensure solutions are designed and delivered in accordance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, data privacy, security, and audit requirements.
• Establish and govern CI/CD, automated testing, code review, release management, observability, and production engineering practices.
• Lead and mentor senior engineers, architects, and offshore delivery teams while maintaining a strong hands-on technical orientation.
• Contribute to pre-sales, solution proposals, RFPs/RFIs, client workshops, POCs, and technical presentations where required.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve engineering productivity and Life Sciences business processes.
• Collaborate with Avira Digital leadership to build and scale Life Sciences technology capabilities and reusable IP/platforms. Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, technical delivery, or technical program management.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale digital applications and platforms.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, REST APIs, FastAPI, microservices, event-driven architecture, SQL/NoSQL, and integration patterns.
• Strong AWS experience with services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, containers, and serverless architectures.
• Experience with Generative AI / Agentic AI, including LLM-based applications, RAG, AI agents, workflow orchestration, or multi-agent architectures.




• Experience with one or more of LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, code quality, architecture governance, and SDLC practices.
• Experience managing large cross-functional engineering teams and complex technical programs.
• Robust stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders.
• Experience working in regulated environments with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, CSV, data governance, privacy, and security requirements. Preferred Life Sciences Experience Experience with one or more of the following will be an advantage:
• Clinical Trials / Clinical Operations
• EDC, CTMS, IRT, Lab systems
• Veeva Vault / Veeva ecosystem
• Pharma R&D; and commercial platforms
• Patient and site engagement
• Clinical and operational analytics
• CDISC – SDTM, ADaM, ODM
• Life Sciences data platforms and data products Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• MBA or advanced technical/business degree is a plus.
• AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification preferred.
