Salary:
2,050,073.28 INR to 2,666,993.48 INR Job Summary: The Senior Salesforce Developer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions for Dodge Industrial. This role develops scalable business logic using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce automation tools such as Flow to support core business processes. The role is responsible for designing and maintaining efficient data models, security controls, validations, and optimized queries to ensure high-performing and reliable solutions. The developer will primarily focus on delivering business functionality within the Salesforce platform, with limited support for lightweight integrations where required. Responsibilities include implementing robust error handling, maintaining code quality through testing and debugging, and supporting ongoing enhancements and production stability. The role also contributes to source-driven development and CI/CD deployments while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.

Working hours
are flexible, with required overlap during US business hours. This generally includes evening hours in India, with overlap until approximately 1:00 AM – 2:00 AM IST.

Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Application Development
• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration. Build and enhance business functionality using declarative tools such as Flow, along with programmatic solutions where required.
• Implement custom business logic, user interface components, validations, and automation to support core sales and service processes. Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce best practices.
• Support Service Cloud capabilities, including Omni-Channel workflows and messaging features, aligned with business requirements. Data Model, Security, and Performance Optimization
• Design and maintain scalable Salesforce data models, relationships, and metadata.
• Implement object-level, field-level, and record-level security using profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security best practices.
• Optimize SOQL queries, Apex execution, and transaction design to ensure high performance, efficient governor-limit usage, and reliable platform behavior under load. Integrations & Asynchronous Processing




• Support integrations with external systems. Assist with data synchronization, basic data mapping, and error handling for integrated processes.
• Develop and maintain asynchronous processes using Batch Apex and Queueable Apex for data-intensive operations within Salesforce, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with platform best practices. Code Quality, DevOps, and Production Support
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, debugging, refactoring, and governor-limit optimization.
• Build robust error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation across Salesforce functionality and integrated data flows.
• Own source-driven development and CI/CD deployments using Salesforce DX and version control.
• Resolve complex production issues and continuously improve platform reliability, performance and maintainability.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration, in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining scalable Salesforce data models including security models, security controls and validations.
• Demonstrated expertise developing and supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions in production environments.
• Strong experience building custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce automation.
• Demonstrated depth of knowledge of the Salesforce platform architecture, limits, and extensibility model.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data structures and metadata driven design principles, including how Salesforce enforces security and data access.
• Experience working within enterprise system landscapes, where Salesforce integrates with upstream or downstream systems through middleware or APIs.
• Solid conceptual understanding of asynchronous and event driven processing within SaaS platforms.
• Experience supporting production Salesforce environments, including incident resolution, defect analysis, and post deployment validation.
• Familiarity with source-controlled development environments and CI/CD practices supporting stable, repeatable deployments.
• Active Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications are mandatory.

• Implement robust error handling, monitoring, logging, and reconciliation mechanisms across Salesforce functionality and integrated data flows.
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and adherence to Salesforce governor limits and development best practices.
• Design and support Salesforce Service Cloud messaging capabilities, including Messaging for In App and Web (MIAW), Omni Channel routing, and integrations with Salesforce data and workflows
• Participate in source driven development using Salesforce DX, version control, and CI/CD pipelines to support consistent and reliable deployments across environments.
• Coach other developers on the team as needed through code reviews, design input, and technical guidance, while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.
