Looking for a Mid to Senior Level Database Administrator (DBA) with specialized expertise in database performance tuning and application-level query optimization. Resource needs to work closely with application development teams to support RSL's in-house Enterprise Data Platform (EDP). The candidate must have deep SQL knowledge, hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, and a strong ability to identify and address inefficiencies in application code.

Key Responsibilities

Database & Application Tuning: Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance while fine-tuning application-level logic to ensure high efficiency and throughput.

Query & Code Optimization: Identify bad querying patterns, inefficient database calls, data handling bottlenecks, and code execution issues leading to contention locks.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner directly with application teams and technical leads to understand application logic, and implement performance recommendations.

Cloud Infrastructure Support: Manage and optimize Oracle database instances hosted within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Valuable-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with EDP (Enterprise Data Platform) environments and architecture.
