Our Company
At Teradata, we believe that people thrive when empowered with better information.
Teradata Autonomous Knowledge
Platform activates enterprise intelligence by unifying data, knowledge and business context to achieve tangible outcomes. With Teradata, organizations can provide agents with full context for impact when it matters. Our solution lets businesses connect and scale on premises, in the cloud, or through a hybrid approach. Teradata delivers real business value with AI.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities The following ten responsibilities define the core scope of this role:
- Audit and SOX compliance support. Serve as the primary liaison for Internal Audit, External Audit (e. g. , Big Four), and SOX testing teams; provide IT General Controls (ITGC) evidence covering access provisioning, change management, and configuration controls, and remediate findings within agreed timelines.
- Controls monitoring and continuous auditing. Configure and operate Oracle Risk Management Cloud (Advanced Access Controls, Advanced Financial Controls) or equivalent tooling to continuously monitor user access, transactions, and configuration drift, and triage exceptions through to closure.
- Documentation, policy, and standards. Maintain the security design document, role-to-persona matrix, SoD ruleset, and control narratives; publish standard operating procedures and ensure all changes are versioned and traceable for audit review.
- Stakeholder enablement and training. Partner with functional leads, the Operate Team, and end users to support secure adoption through role walkthroughs and policy briefings, while serving as the subject-matter expert for access-related questions.
- Risk reporting and continuous improvement. Produce monthly and quarterly security and controls dashboards for leadership covering access risk, SoD exceptions, UAR completion,
and remediation status; drive a continuous-improvement roadmap aligned to Oracle product updates and emerging risks.
- Patch, release, and change governance. Assess each SaaS platform release updates for security impact, coordinate testing in DEV/TEST/UAT, and maintain a Teradata-style patch calendar with risk-rated change records and approvals.
- Segregation of Duties (SoD) management. Define and maintain the enterprise SoD ruleset, perform pre-provisioning conflict simulations, remediate or formally document mitigating controls, and produce audit-ready SoD leadsheets covering AP, AR, GL, PO, and sub-ledger conflicts.
- User access lifecycle administration. Govern joiner-mover-leaver processes for SaaS Enterprise platforms; review and approve access requests, perform timely terminations, and run periodic user access reviews (UARs) with documented sign-off from process owners.
- Privileged and emergency access controls. Administer privileged accounts and break-glass / firefighter access, ensure session logging is captured, and review elevated activity logs on a defined cadence to detect and report anomalies.
