Role Description

We’re looking for Freelance Video Editors who are passionate about crafting stories through visuals and sound. If you’re someone who lives on timelines, loves experimenting with transitions, and gets excited by the idea of bringing ideas to life – we’d love to discuss with you!

Core responsibilities:

- Edit raw footage into polished, finished videos, including cutting, trimming, sequencing, and pacing clips to tell a clear story
- Add background music, sound effects, and voiceovers, and balance audio levels so dialogue is clear
- Clean up audio by removing background noise, filler pauses, and inconsistencies




- Apply color correction and grading so footage looks consistent and on-brand
- Create and add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions, and animated text
- Add captions or subtitles, and make sure they’re accurate and well-timed
- Incorporate brand elements such as logos, fonts, colors, intros, and outros

Requirements:

- Proven experience editing videos professionally
- A portfolio or showreel with samples similar to the content you need
- Proficiency in at least one professional editing tool, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve etc.
- Solid grasp of pacing, storytelling, and cutting to keep viewers engaged
- Good audio skills: syncing, cleanup, and mixing music with dialogue
- Basic color correction and grading ability
- Knowledge of platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, and export settings
- Ability to add captions and subtitles accurately
- Reliable internet and a capable computer to handle large files
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Good communication skills, including responding promptly and taking feedback well
