Must-Have Technical Expertise

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of professional experience in Atlassian consulting, administration, solution design, implementation, or technical delivery, with strong enterprise experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise across Jira and Confluence, with working knowledge of Jira Service Management, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian products.
- Strong practical experience with Atlassian Cloud, including administration, configuration, governance, security, user and permission management, integrations, and platform adoption.
- Practical experience with Atlassian Data Center environments, including application administration, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience delivering Atlassian migrations, including Server/Data Center to Cloud migrations, migration assessments, dependency analysis, app assessment, execution planning, validation, and postmigration support.
- Strong experience with Jira/JSM workflows, schemes, custom fields, screens, permissions, issue types, request types, portals, queues, SLAs, automation, and notifications.
- Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting, preferably using ScriptRunner, for Jira/JSM customization, automation, behaviours, listeners, workflow extensions, validators, post-functions, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Atlassian REST APIs, webhooks, authentication/SSO, directory integrations, and third-party integrations. Strong customer engagement, stakeholder management, consulting, facilitation, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Linux, databases, networking, proxies, SSL, LDAP/SSO, and cloud platforms to collaborate with infrastructure teams and troubleshoot Atlassian environments.
- Atlassian certification/accreditation, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications.

- Strong knowledge of Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo, covering application-side administration and enterprise architecture.




- Strong understanding of Atlassian Cloud and Data Center deployment models and their operational considerations.
- Experience with Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, custom fields, screens, automation, notifications, projects, and enterprise configuration.
- Experience with Confluence spaces, permissions, templates, content structures, macros, integrations, and administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Groovy scripting and preferably ScriptRunner for Jira/JSM customization and automation.
- Knowledge of Atlassian REST APIs, webhooks, automation, and scripting for administration, reporting, integrations, customization, and migration support.
- Experience coding or scripting in Groovy, Python, Shell, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps, including assessment, configuration, compatibility, and support.
- Understanding of Data Center application architecture, upgrades, performance considerations, and operational support.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, SQL databases, networking, proxies, SSL/TLS, LDAP/SSO, DNS, and web application architecture.
- Exposure to AWS, Docker, Ansible, or comparable cloud/infrastructure technologies is desirable.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Robust consulting mindset with the ability to lead customer workshops, challenge assumptions constructively, and communicate architecture and migration decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

- Lead Atlassian consulting engagements covering discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement across Cloud and Data Center environments.
- Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and technical requirements and translate them into practical Atlassian solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, maintainable Atlassian solutions aligned with customer objectives, governance standards, and target operating models.
- Provide expert guidance across Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and related Atlassian products, including platform configuration, workflows, permissions, automation, integrations, and governance.
- Develop and implement Jira/JSM customizations and automation using Groovy, ScriptRunner, REST APIs, and other appropriate Atlassian capabilities. •

Contribute to Atlassian migration and transformation engagements, including discovery, assessment, planning,



app evaluation, execution, validation, and post-migration stabilization.
- Conduct demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Evaluate Atlassian Marketplace apps and integrations and provide recommendations based on functional fit, maintainability, licensing, security, and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex Atlassian application, configuration, automation, scripting, integration, authentication, and performance issues.
- Act as a senior technical and consulting point of contact with customers and maintain a high standard of customer experience.
- Contribute to documentation, reusable solution patterns, knowledge bases, delivery standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Strong Atlassian Data Center expertise, including enterprise architecture, clustering/high availability concepts, scalability, upgrades, performance, troubleshooting, and operational administration.
- Proven experience delivering Atlassian migrations, including Server/Data Center to Cloud migrations, Data Center transformations/upgrades, migration assessments, dependency analysis, execution planning, validation, cutover, and post-migration support.
- Experience assessing and migrating Atlassian Marketplace apps and integrations, identifying compatibility, data migration, configuration, and remediation requirements.
- Proven track record of implementing Atlassian solutions including installations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, workshops, training, and platform optimization.
- Basic understanding of Forge and Atlassian extensibility; coding/development experience in Forge is an added advantage.
- Understanding of Assets/Insight, asset management concepts, configuration management, object schemas, relationships, automation.
- Strong customer engagement, stakeholder management, consulting, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, supportable solution designs.
- Understanding of Agile, ITIL/ITSM, SAFe, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding cloud and infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Docker, Ansible, load balancers, proxies, SSL/TLS, LDAP/SSO, and web/application servers.
- Experience with databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, and an understanding of database performance and administration concepts.
- Experience with operating systems, particularly Linux/Unix, and strong command-line troubleshooting skills. • Experience with scripting or programming using Python, Groovy, Shell, Java, or similar languages.
