About the Role

Assistant Manager- Finance

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Finance (Controlling) to support financial planning, manufacturing controlling, and business reporting activities. The role will be responsible for SAP FI/CO controlling processes, product costing, inventory and WIP analysis, cost allocations, variance analysis, and month-end closing. The position will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost transparency, and effective business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage SAP FI/CO controlling processes, including cost allocations, settlements, internal service charge cycles, and reconciliations.
- Maintain organisational and reporting structures in SAP while ensuring accurate value flows and costing methodologies.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Act as the key finance partner for inventory valuation, WIP, product costing (COGM/COGS),



PPV, and operational cost analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Controlling teams to improve financial performance and cost transparency.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

- Master's Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Controlling or Cost Accounting.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO and manufacturing finance processes.
- Expertise in product costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

- Advanced SAP FI/CO knowledge (Cost Centres, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis).
- Experience in manufacturing finance, inventory management, and operational cost control.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
- Experience in SAP implementation, stabilisation, or process improvement projects.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), CPA, or ACCA will be an added advantage.
