A:- JOB PROFILE:

Application Engineering - To provide technical solutions and commercial support for customer requirements by selecting appropriate seal/system, preparing technical proposals, supporting sales activities, and coordinating with customers, OEMs, and internal teams to achieve business objectives.

A - 1 JOB CONTENT:

Technical Proposal & Quotation Support

- Review customer RFQs, specifications, datasheets, and documents.
- Select suitable seal/system based on application requirements.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations and costing.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams for quotation closure.

Application Review & Product Selection

- Analyze process conditions such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, fluid properties, and operating conditions.
- Recommend appropriateseal/system.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

Customer Technical Support

- Clarify technical requirements with customers.
- Respond to technical queries and deviations.
- Participate in customer meetings, discussions, and technical presentations.

Documentation

- Prepare technical datasheets, deviation lists, sizing calculations.
- Review drawings, BOMs, and engineering documents.
- Maintain application records and project documentation.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with sales, project management, operations,



manufacturing, quality, and service teams.
- Coordinate with global engineering centers and OEM partners for technical inputs.
- Support order execution and project handover activities.

Order Execution Support

- Verify customer purchase orders against quotations.
- order entry in the SAP.
- Address technical issues arising during manufacturing and commissioning.

A - 2 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Review customer enquiries, specifications, RFQs, and tender documents.
2. Analyze application parameters and select suitable engineering products/solutions.
3. Prepare techno-commercial quotations, costing, and proposal documentation.
4. Provide technical support to sales teams and customers.
5. Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and global engineering teams for technical clarifications.
6. Review customer requirements and ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
7. Prepare datasheets, deviation statements, calculations, and technical reports.
8. Support order execution with technical documentation.
9. Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, and project reviews.
10. Maintain quotation turnaround time and ensure timely completion.
11. Maintain records of quotations, technical submissions, and customer communications.
