Description

AI Risk Engineer on Chevron’s Responsible AI (RAI) team partners with business and IT development teams to ensure AI and machine learning systems are fair, transparent, accountable, secure, and aligned with Chevron’s ethical principles. The role involves building and maintaining automation, scripts, and tooling that power Chevron’s AI impact assessment process, and helping operationalize Responsible AI controls within our AI governance platform (Credo AI).

Responsibilities :

- Build, maintain, and enhance automation flows, scripts, and tooling that support Chevron’s AI impact assessment and Responsible AI review processes.




- Configure and administer Chevron’s AI governance platform (Credo AI)
- Design and operate review and approval checkpoints
- Establish and run model review processes
- Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses
- Evaluate AI vendors, models, and external AI access requests
- Influence the development and adoption of tools and methodologies
- Lead training, FAQs, and awareness campaigns
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Responsible AI principles

Requirements :

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3-7 years of qualified experience in data science, analytics, or AI/ML engineering roles
- Proficiency in Python and experience building automation, scripts, or data pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to reason through ethical implications of AI systems
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
