JOB DESCRIPTION - SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER (SQE)

Position: Supplier Quality Engineer

Number of Vacancies: 03

Job Locations: Bhiwadi Rajasthan, IMT Manesar, and Noida

Experience: 3-6 Years

Salary Range: ₹30,000 - ₹60,000 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate, qualify, and monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with company quality standards and technical specifications.

• Conduct supplier quality audits, process audits, and periodic supplier performance assessments.

• Monitor incoming raw materials, components, and parts to ensure conformity with approved specifications.

• Investigate supplier-related quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Perform root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D Problem Solving.

• Manage supplier complaints, rejection analysis, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action follow-ups.

• Review and validate PPAP documentation, FMEA, Control Plans, and other relevant quality documents, as applicable.

• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to resolve supplier quality concerns.

• Monitor supplier quality KPIs, including PPM, rejection rates,



defect trends, and corrective action closure timelines.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve supplier reliability, and minimize quality-related costs.

• Ensure compliance with applicable ISO 9001, IATF , and customer-specific quality requirements, wherever applicable.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIRED SKILLS

• Diploma / . / in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or a related engineering discipline.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality / Vendor Quality / Quality Assurance.

• Strong knowledge of supplier audits, incoming inspection, and quality management tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and 8D.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and supplier coordination skills.

• Good English communication skills for qualified reporting and supplier correspondence.
