Designation: Production Supervisor — Fabrication

Location: Haridwar / Roorkee, Uttarakhand

Experience: 1 – 2 Years in Shop Floor Fabrication

What he Will Do
Supervise day-to-day fabrication activities — cutting, welding, grinding, and fitting
Monitor job-wise fabrication progress against plan and update status daily
Identify and report bottlenecks — material shortage, manpower gaps, machine breakdown, drawing issues
Read and interpret engineering drawings; communicate requirements to fabricators and welders
Assist Planning Manager in preparing daily / weekly fabrication schedules
Allocate and monitor fabrication manpower — welders, fitters, and helpers
Coordinate with stores for timely availability of raw material and bought-out items
Coordinate with QC team for in-process inspection and dimensional checks
Prepare and submit Daily Production Report (DPR) to Planning Manager
Maintain fabrication tracker,



job status sheet, and manpower utilization in Excel
Ensure shop floor discipline, safety compliance, and 5S standards

What We Are Looking For
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
Basic knowledge of fabrication processes — cutting, welding, fitting
Proficiency in MS Excel — DPR, trackers, status reporting
Basic production planning and scheduling knowledge
Knowledge of welding symbols and material grades (MS, SS, structural)
Familiarity with measuring instruments
Robust reporting, communication, and team coordination skills
Proactive, accountable, and deadline-driven attitude

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
