Job Summary

Orchids International School is looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging, activity-based lessons that develop students numerical skills, logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and conceptual understanding of Mathematics.

Role & responsibilities
Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
Teach number operations, fractions, geometry, measurements, patterns, and basic data handling.
Use activity-based learning, games, manipulatives, and digital tools to make Mathematics engaging.
Prepare worksheets, assignments, lesson plans, and assessments.
Monitor student progress and provide individualised support wherever required.




Maintain effective classroom management and encourage active participation.
Communicate student progress to parents and collaborate with colleagues.
Participate in academic meetings, school events, and career development programmes.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a relevant discipline.
B.Ed. or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, as applicable.
Primary school teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of child-centred teaching methods and digital learning tools is desirable.

Required Skills
Solid Mathematics subject knowledge and communication skills.
Effective classroom management and lesson-planning abilities.
Ability to explain mathematical concepts through practical examples.
Patience, creativity, and a student-focused approach.
