Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage QA & QC activities across fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, and manufacturing operations.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 12 Quality Engineers and Inspectors.
Act as Management Representative for ISO systems and drive compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure quality compliance with engineering drawings, welding procedures, customer specifications, and applicable standards.
Oversee in-process, final inspections, and NDT activities (UT, RT, MPT, LPT/DPT).
Review material test certificates, inspection reports, quality records, and manufacturing documentation.
Handle customer audits, quality reviews, and interactions with third-party inspection agencies.
Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, AI-based quality initiatives, and production staff training on in-process inspections.

Preferred candidate profile




Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in heavy fabrication, process equipment, or engineering manufacturing.
Solid knowledge of fabrication, welding, inspection, NDT, and quality management systems.
Experience in agitators, compressors, rotating equipment, pressure vessels, or similar fabricated products.
Experience as Management Representative for ISO Quality Management Systems.
Exposure to third-party inspections, customer audits, and standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
Solid leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills; exposure to AI-based quality initiatives will be an added advantage.
