Job Summary

Orchids International School is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to deliver engaging lessons, develop students’ geographical understanding, and promote critical thinking and environmental awareness.

Role & responsibilities
Plan and deliver Geography lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
Teach physical geography, human geography, climate, resources, and environmental issues.
Develop students map-reading, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching resources.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and remedial support.
Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.




Collaborate with colleagues and communicate student progress to parents.
Participate in academic meetings, school events, and career development programmes.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Geography or a relevant subject.
B.Ed. in Social Science/Geography or an equivalent recognised qualification, as applicable.
Relevant secondary school teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of the applicable school curriculum and digital teaching tools is desirable

Effective classroom management and lesson-planning abilities.
Proficiency in map work and geographical data interpretation.
