LAB Engineer - Linux Administration

We are looking for a LAB Engineer with robust Linux Administration and hardware support experience to manage engineering lab infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux systems (RHEL & Ubuntu) on servers and workstations.
Monitor system health and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage day-to-day lab operations and IPKVM infrastructure.
Perform system assembly, hardware upgrades, BIOS/firmware updates, and troubleshooting.
Automate tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, and Git.
Maintain documentation and collaborate with engineering teams.

Required Skills




6+ years of Linux system administration experience.
Robust knowledge of RHEL, Ubuntu, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible).
Server and desktop hardware assembly and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have
HPC tools: Slurm, Lmod, Spack.
Storage technologies: RAID, NFS, BeeGFS, InfiniBand.
Training and user support experience.
