Responsibilities
Own and lead end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring adherence to close timelines.
Lead preparation and review of management and statutory financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.
Drive governance, internal controls, and compliance with SOX, GAAP/IFRS requirements.
Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and elimination processes across entities.
Lead balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and timely resolution of variances.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders (FP&A;, Controllers, Business teams) to drive reporting accuracy and insights.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimisation.
Oversee audit activities and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Lead and mentor RTR teams, ensuring high performance, capability building, and delivery excellence.

Mandatory Requirements
Proven experience in leading Record to Report (RTR) / General Accounting functions.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting principles.
Experience in shared services / GBS / BPO workplace.
Hands-on experience in ERP platforms such as SAP S4 HANA/ Oracle / Blackline.

Exposure to automation tools (RPA, workflow tools) is an advantage.

Eligibility
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Qualified qualification (CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred.
4 - 9 years of relevant experience in RTR / Finance operations.
Experience in managing teams in a global/shared services setup preferred.
