You will lead the software side of the test and measurement systems we build for aerospace, defence, rail and research customers. That means turning a customer requirement into a clean LabVIEW architecture, writing real-time and FPGA code that runs deterministically on CompactRIO and PXI, and seeing it through factory and site acceptance.

You will work alongside our hardware and panel engineers, review the work of junior developers, and be the technical voice on customer calls. Most of our systems run for many years, so we care about code that the next engineer can read, test and maintain.

What you will do
Design LabVIEW application architectures (QMH, Actor Framework or DQMH) from customer requirements and channel lists
Develop LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA code for CompactRIO and PXI control and acquisition systems
Integrate instruments and buses: DAQmx, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, MODBUS, OPC UA
Build TestStand sequences and operator interfaces where test sequencing is required
Write design documents, test procedures and user manuals; take part in design reviews, FAT and SAT
Commission systems at customer sites in India and train operators and maintainers
Review code and mentor junior engineers; contribute to our reusable libraries

What we are looking for




5 or more years of qualified LabVIEW development on delivered systems
Hands-on LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA on CompactRIO or PXI
Solid understanding of data acquisition: sensors, signal conditioning, sampling and timing
Experience with source control (Git or SVN) and structured, documented code
Comfortable reading electrical drawings and working with hardware engineers on the bench
Transparent written and spoken English for documentation and customer communication
Willingness to travel to customer sites for commissioning

Positive to have
TestStand development and deployment
Experience on aero-engine, gas turbine, rail traction or defence test systems
DIAdem for analysis and reporting
Python or C# for tooling and integration

Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or Computer Science
NI Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) preferred; CLAD at minimum
