Role Description The Daycare Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at Footprints Preschool and Daycare on Haralur Road in Bengaluru. The Daycare Teacher will oversee the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the day. Responsibilities include planning and conducting age-appropriate activities, supporting early childhood development milestones, and assisting with basic routines such as meals, rest, and hygiene. The role involves maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment,



communicating regularly with parents and guardians, and collaborating with other staff to implement the center’s curriculum and policies. The Daycare Teacher will also observe and document children’s progress and behavior and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and practical experience in Day Care and Childcare
Understanding of Early Childhood Development and ability to support developmental milestones
Effective Communication skills for interaction with children, families, and colleagues
Experience or training in Curriculum Development for early learning environments
Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom setting
Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Childcare, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is an advantage
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with young children
Ability to follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols and center policies
