Preferred: Experience in metro viaduct/bridge, precast segment casting or casting-yard operations.
Responsibilities:
Supervise precast segment/girder casting activities at the casting yard.
Check reinforcement, BBS, shuttering/formwork, embedments and dimensions as per drawings.
Monitor concrete pouring, vibration, curing, demoulding and finishing.
Coordinate with QA/QC, survey, planning and safety teams.
Ensure quality, productivity and daily casting targets.
Maintain casting records, inspection reports and production reports.
Identify and rectify construction defects/rework.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, ITP and safety procedures.
