Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst NRI PIS Application

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 3–5 Years

Role Purpose

To ensure end-to-end quality assurance of the NRI PIS application through functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing support, ensuring a defect-free and compliant solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution
Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
Validate application flows across integrated systems.

Defect Management
Log, track, and retest defects.
Coordinate with development and vendor teams for issue resolution.
Verify defect fixes and conduct regression testing.
Ensure timely defect closure and reporting.

UAT Support
Support business users during UAT execution.
Prepare UAT test cases and execution reports.
Coordinate issue tracking and resolution during UAT cycles.

Quality Governance
Ensure adherence to testing standards and processes.
Maintain testing documentation and evidence.
Participate in release readiness reviews and production validation activities.

Reporting & Coordination




Prepare daily and weekly testing status reports.
Track testing progress against project timelines.
Coordinate with Product, Business, Vendor, Development, and Support teams.

Required Skills
Solid experience in functional testing and defect management.
Positive understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and STLC.
Experience in preparing test cases and execution reports.
Knowledge of API testing and integration testing.
Solid analytical and documentation skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills
Experience in Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Trading Platforms, Mutual Funds, or Investment Products.
Hands-on experience with Jira, DevOps, ALM, or equivalent tools.
Exposure to automation testing, performance testing and API testing tools such as Postman.

Educational Qualification
BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent degree.
