Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Master’s Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering / Industrial Safety / Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline from a recognized university.
Ph.D. in Fire & Safety / Safety Engineering preferred.
Minimum 2 years + of teaching, research, or relevant industry experience in fire safety, occupational safety, or risk management.
Robust academic record; publications in reputed journals will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Fire & Safety, Disaster Management, and Industrial Safety.
Develop, update, and revise curriculum to align with industry standards and safety regulations.
Train students in fire prevention, firefighting techniques, occupational safety, and emergency response.
Guide research projects, dissertations, and case studies in safety management.
Conduct safety drills, workshops, and practical demonstrations.
Collaborate with industry for internships,



industrial visits, and applied research.
Mentor students for skilled and career growth.
Participate in departmental and university committees and academic initiatives.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills
Expertise in Disaster Management, Industrial Safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Risk Assessment, or Occupational Safety. :
Practical exposure in firefighting systems, hazard analysis, and safety audits.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, NFPA, OSHA will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to integrate real-world safety practices with academic teaching.

Pay Scale

₹30,000 - ₹80,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience).
