Production In-Charge / Production Technician

Industry: Apparel (Garments) / Innerwear Manufacturing

Job Summary

Responsible for managing and monitoring day-to-day production activities in the apparel/innerwear manufacturing unit, ensuring production targets, product quality, operational efficiency, and timely order completion.

Note: Only Garments/Apparel/Innerwear Manufacturing Industry Experienced candidate will consider.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Manage stitching machines, production lines, manpower allocation, and workflow.
- Ensure product quality, correct measurements, proper stitching, and finishing standards.
- Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, and operator productivity.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, technical issues, and machine-related problems.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Cutting, Finishing, Maintenance, and Merchandising departments.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain daily production reports, rejection records, efficiency reports, and manpower records.
- Minimize fabric wastage, rework, rejection, and production downtime.




- Ensure compliance with quality standards specific to innerwear products, including elastic attachment, seam strength, fit, and finishing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in apparel or innerwear manufacturing.
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines, stitching operations, and garment construction.
- Understanding of production planning, line balancing, quality control, and manpower management.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

Relevant experience in apparel/innerwear production, preferably in stitching, production supervision, or technical operations.

Preferred Candidate: A technically sound and result-oriented skilled with practical knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, production efficiency, and quality management.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
