ob Description: Snowflake & dbt DeveloperRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Snowflake & dbt Developer / Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud data solutions. The candidate should have solid hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes, with a focus on building reliable and high-performing data pipelines.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain data solutions using Snowflake and dbt.Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.Develop reusable and modular dbt models, tests, macros, and documentation.Design and implement dimensional and analytical data models.Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.Implement data quality checks, testing, monitoring,



and troubleshooting.Work with structured and semi-structured data within Snowflake.Perform Snowflake performance tuning and query optimization.Collaborate with business analysts, architects, BI teams, and upstream/downstream application teams.Support deployment and version control processes using Git and CI/CD practices.Troubleshoot data pipeline, transformation, and production issues.Follow data engineering standards, security practices, and development best practices.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake.Strong working experience with dbt (Data Build Tool).Advanced knowledge of SQL.Good understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ELT/ETL concepts.Experience developing scalable data transformation pipelines.Experience with Git/version control and CI/CD.Knowledge of Snowflake concepts such as warehouses, databases, schemas, stages, and performance optimization.Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Python for data engineering or automation.Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.Experience with orchestration/integration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies.Understanding of data governance, security, and data quality practices.dbt certification or Snowflake certification is an added advantage.Experience5+ years of overall Data Engineering / Data Warehousing experience.2+ years of hands-on Snowflake and dbt experience preferred.
