We are seeking an experienced research and strategy professional with a strong background in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry. The role involves conducting market research, analysing industry trends, developing financial models, and delivering actionable insights to support business strategy and commercial decision-making.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on complex projects while collaborating with senior stakeholders and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Market Intelligence

- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive landscape assessments across relevant therapeutic areas and geographies.
- Analyse market size, industry trends, pricing strategies, competitor positioning, and regulatory developments.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Conduct structured, hypothesis-driven research using industry databases and public information sources.

Financial and Commercial Analysis

- Develop financial models, product forecasts, and valuation analyses.
- Evaluate commercial opportunities, pricing strategies, market access, and competitive dynamics.
- Support portfolio assessment, performance tracking, and business planning.
- Analyse market-entry opportunities and growth scenarios.

Reporting and Client Deliverables

- Prepare high-quality analytical reports, Excel models, and PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery of project outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated research and strategy solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.

Industry Monitoring

- Track industry developments, product launches, regulatory updates, and market trends.
- Conduct company profiling, competitive analysis,



and performance assessments.
- Monitor market adoption, pricing trends, and evolving commercial opportunities.
- Contribute research insights to internal knowledge resources and industry publications.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare strategy and consulting.
- Experience in pharmaceutical market research, commercial strategy, competitive intelligence, or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical markets, product commercialisation, and regulatory pathways.
- Experience working on international market assessments, particularly US and European markets, is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with industry databases and research tools such as IQVIA, PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and regulatory databases.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet demanding deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, stakeholder-management skills, and professional judgement.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree or an equivalent advanced qualification in a relevant field is required.
