Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cutting Incharge to manage and supervise daily cutting department operations in our garment manufacturing unit, specializing in T-Shirts, Kidswear, Jackets, Lowers, and Sweatshirts.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily cutting operations and ensure production targets are achieved on time.
- Coordinate with the Merchandising and CAD teams for cutting files, patterns, and marker planning.
- Verify fabric quality, consumption, average, and fabric issuance before cutting.
- Monitor fabric spreading, lay height, cutting accuracy, and fabric utilization to minimize wastage.
- Supervise the cutting team and ensure proper manpower allocation and workflow.
- Ensure timely bundling, numbering, ticketing, and transfer of cut panels to the stitching department.
- Identify and resolve shortages, cutting discrepancies, and production-related issues.
- Maintain cutting records, fabric consumption reports,



and department registers.
- Ensure cutting tables, machines, and the cutting hall remain clean and organized.
- Coordinate with the PMS team and follow up on cutting process compliance.
- Ensure required register verification and sign-off every Monday and Thursday.

Requirements

- Experience in a garment manufacturing cutting department.
- Knowledge of fabric consumption, marker planning, CAD patterns, fabric spreading, and cutting processes.
- Good team-handling, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain records and achieve production targets.
- Experience in knitwear garments will be preferred.
