Key Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on mechanical CAD/CAE software.
- Teach students software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX CAD, and HyperMesh.
- Explain mechanical design concepts, 2D drafting, 3D modeling, assembly design, and engineering drawings.
- Train students in part modeling, surface modeling, sheet metal design, and assembly modeling, as applicable to each software.
- Provide hands-on exercises, assignments, and real-time industry-oriented projects.
- Guide students in developing mechanical components and product designs using CAD software.
- Teach basic GD&T;, engineering drawing standards, and design fundamentals.
- Assess students' progress through practical tests, assignments, and project evaluations.
- Support students in troubleshooting software-related issues and improving their technical skills.
- Keep training materials and course content updated according to industry requirements.
- Maintain student attendance, performance records, and training progress.
- Assist students with interview preparation, resume guidance, and career-related technical support.

Required Technical Skills

The candidate should have working knowledge of the following software:

- AutoCAD – 2D drafting and engineering drawings.
- SolidWorks – 3D part modeling, assembly design, and drawing creation.
- CATIA – Part design, assembly design, and surface modeling.
- Creo Parametric – Part modeling, assembly modeling, and detailing.




- NX CAD (Siemens NX) – 3D modeling, assembly design, and drafting.
- HyperMesh – Finite element pre-processing, meshing, geometry cleanup, and model preparation for CAE analysis.

Preferred: Candidates who can teach multiple software packages effectively and have practical project experience will be given preference.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma BE Btech or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant CAD/CAE certifications and strong practical software skills are preferred.

Experience

- Freshers with solid software knowledge and good communication skills may apply.
- Experienced trainers with prior teaching or industry experience are preferred.
- Candidates with practical mechanical design, CAD modeling, or CAE pre-processing experience will have an added advantage.
