About the Role

FernEd help students achieve their dream of studying abroad. As a Student Counsellor, you will connect with students who have shown interest in studying overseas, guide them through their options, and support them until they are enrolled.

Key Responsibilities

- Call and follow up with leads provided by the company (inbound enquiries and campaign leads)
- Understand each student’s academic background, budget, goals, and preferred country
- Explain details clearly: universities, courses, intakes, fees, scholarships, visa process, and timelines
- Recommend suitable countries, universities, and programs
- Convert leads into enrolments by guiding students and parents through each step
- Follow up consistently through calls, WhatsApp, and email




- Help students with document collection and application submission

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Confident on the phone, with a persuasive but honest approach
- Good listening skills and patience with students and parents
- Basic computer skills.
- Prior experience in study abroad consulting, admissions, academic councellor, or student councellor will be an advantage
