Job Description: Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, accounting operations, taxation, and payment collection for a modular furniture manufacturing and trading business. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Tally, GST filing, financial planning, and customer payment follow-ups, along with the ability to manage financial operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations using Tally Prime.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, cash flow projections, and financial reports.
- Handle financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Manage GST filing, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliance.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable and ensure accurate ledger maintenance.
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
- Coordinate with customers regarding payment schedules, pending invoices, and overdue accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries to support management decision-making.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors,



and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support management in financial decision-making and identifying opportunities to improve financial efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification; M.Com, CMA, or CA Inter preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong proficiency in Tally Prime.
- Hands-on experience in GST filing and statutory compliance.
- Practical knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Proven experience in customer payment collection and outstanding receivables management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage financial operations effectively.
- Experience in the modular furniture, manufacturing, trading, or related industry is preferred.
