Senior Salesforce Developer

Salary: Up to ₹25,00,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Fully remote — anywhere in India

Working days: Monday–Friday, with at least five hours' overlap with UK business hours

Start: Immediate following successful completion of interviews (maximum 30-day notice period)

Engagement: Ongoing project, initially planned for 12 months, with an important review after the first three months. The engagement may end at that stage depending on project requirements.

The opportunity

We're recruiting an experienced, hands-on Salesforce Developer to support a significant technology transformation programme for an established UK social housing organisation.

The organisation is continuing to develop and enhance its Salesforce environment, introducing new functionality and improving integrations with other business systems. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to a substantial, real-world programme where the quality of your development work will make a difference.

You'll work remotely from India as part of a team supporting the UK organisation, collaborating with technical colleagues and stakeholders to deliver reliable, maintainable Salesforce solutions.

This is a hands-on development position, not a people-management role.

What you'll be doing

- Designing, developing, enhancing and maintaining Salesforce functionality.
- Building and supporting integrations between Salesforce and external business applications.
- Working with APIs and troubleshooting integration issues.
- Translating technical and functional requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.
- Investigating defects, resolving complex technical problems and improving existing functionality.
- Collaborating with developers,



testers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality changes.
- Supporting testing, releases and ongoing improvements to the Salesforce environment.

What we're looking for

Essential

- Substantial hands-on Salesforce development experience; approximately eight years is strongly preferred, although exceptional candidates with six or seven years will be considered.
- Proven practical experience developing Salesforce integrations and working with APIs.
- A relevant Salesforce developer certification.
- Robust technical problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver independently.
- Experience developing and maintaining Salesforce solutions in a live business environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- The ability to work effectively in a fully remote team and overlap with UK working hours.
- Availability to start immediately or within 30 days.

Desirable

- Experience across a range of Salesforce development technologies, such as Apex, Lightning Web Components and SOQL.
- Experience contributing to large-scale transformation or business systems enhancement programmes.
