Studio 5 Design is an interior design firm looking for a technically skilled and solution-oriented IT Support Engineer to manage day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot interior design software, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting design professionals and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer who can independently troubleshoot interior design and 3D visualization software while managing the organization's IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of workstations, design applications, networks, servers, and other IT systems used by our design team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Interior Design Software Support

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray, Lumion, and Enscape.
- Diagnose and resolve software crashes, installation errors, rendering issues, plugin conflicts, and performance problems.
- Troubleshoot software compatibility issues, licensing errors, and activation problems through authorized vendor support.
- Assist designers in resolving technical issues that affect their daily workflow.
- Coordinate with software vendors and service providers to resolve complex technical problems.

2. IT Infrastructure Management

- Maintain and troubleshoot desktop computers, workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and other office IT equipment.
- Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, IP configurations, and network connectivity.
- Maintain shared folders,



file servers, user accounts, access permissions, and data backup systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure that computers meet the requirements of design and rendering applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues involving RAM, SSDs, processors, graphics cards, and other workstation components.
- Manage Windows operating systems, software updates, antivirus, and endpoint security.

3. Technical Support & Maintenance

- Provide timely technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose recurring issues and implement long-term solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, software records, warranty details, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Perform routine system maintenance, preventive checks, and data backup verification.
- Ensure the secure handling of company data and maintain appropriate access controls.

4. IT Operations & Coordination

- Coordinate with management, design teams, vendors, and external IT service providers.
- Maintain records of reported issues, resolutions, and pending technical requests.
- Recommend hardware upgrades and IT improvements to enhance performance and productivity.
- Ensure all IT systems operate reliably and support the company's day-to-day design activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.




- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT support, infrastructure management, and technical troubleshooting.
- Practical knowledge of interior design, CAD, BIM, and 3D rendering applications.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with workstation performance optimization and graphics-intensive applications.
- Knowledge of user access management, data backups, antivirus, and basic IT security.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently diagnose issues and provide timely solutions.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working in an interior design firm, architecture studio, engineering consultancy, or 3D visualization company.
- Familiarity with high-performance design workstations and rendering requirements.
- Experience managing shared storage, NAS or file servers, and network-based workflows.
- Knowledge of software deployment, license management, and IT asset management.

- Resolve technical issues efficiently and maintain proper records.
- Ensure reliable access to design applications, shared files, and IT resources.
- Maintain workstation performance, system security, and data backup practices.
- Provide responsive technical support to the design team.

Studio 5 Design, Matunga, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Work Mode: Full-time, in office.
