About the role

DAIM is looking for a Business Development Manager to own the growth pipeline for our advisory and professional services. You will identify the right businesses, understand their financial and commercial pain points, and convert qualified opportunities into long-term engagements. The role is consultative selling of Fractional CFO, bookkeeping, MIS, profitability and financial health check services.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects across target sectors and channels
- Lead discovery meetings with founders and decision-makers to understand their business before recommending a service
- Recommend the right DAIM solution and prepare timely, high-quality proposals
- Convert opportunities into engagements through disciplined follow-up and achieve monthly and quarterly new-business targets
- Build repeat referral relationships with partners, consultants and community contacts
- Keep the pipeline tracker accurate, and share market and customer insights with the team
- Hand over won clients smoothly to the delivery team and collect client feedback
- Represent DAIM professionally at every meeting, campaign and event, with no over-promising





Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or a related field
- 2–6 years of experience in B2B business development, financial services, professional services, consulting sales or other client-facing roles
- Working knowledge of P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, margins, costing and KPIs
- Strong lead generation, discovery, proposal follow-up and closing skills
- Professional written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and CRM or pipeline tools

Preferred

- MBA (Finance), MCom, or BCom with an equivalent finance qualification
- Exposure to accounting, CFO services, advisory, ERP or SaaS
- Founder / SME network and referral relationships
- Fluency in Malayalam and English
- Experience with Tally, Zoho, HubSpot or similar tools
