- 15+ years of overall IT experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience managing Cloud Migration or Application Modernization programs
- Experience leading large-scale enterprise migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - AWS Cloud Migration & Application Modernization to lead and manage end-to-end cloud transformation programs involving migration from on-premises environments to AWS. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management expertise, a solid understanding of cloud migration concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. The role requires driving seamless project execution while ensuring alignment with client expectations, business goals, and organizational governance.

Project & Program Management

- Strong experience managing cloud migration or infrastructure transformation projects
- End-to-end delivery management of cloud migration programs
- Project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking
- Risk, dependency, and escalation management
- Stakeholder management and executive reporting
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Cloud Migration & AWS

- Valuable understanding of AWS services:

- Experience defining migration strategies:

- Understanding of migration tools:





- AWS Application Migration Service (MGN)

Delivery Methodology

- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid delivery models
- Ability to facilitate:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Retrospectives

Tools & Communication

- Proficiency with project management tools:
- Jira
- MS Project
- Azure DevOps

- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
- Ability to communicate in both English and Japanese (preferably JLPT N3 or equivalent)

Good to Have Skills

Cloud & DevOps

- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Terraform
- AWS CloudFormation

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments

Governance & IT Operations

- Familiarity with ITIL processes
- Understanding of security and compliance frameworks:
- ISO Standards

Cost & Optimization

- FinOps or cloud cost management exposure
- Experience driving cloud cost optimization and resource efficiency

Certifications

- PMP

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects from on-premises environments to AWS.
- Define and guide migration approaches including rehost, replatform, refactor, retire,



and retain strategies.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation plans, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate across infrastructure, application, DevOps, security, and business teams.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and escalation paths.
- Ensure adherence to organizational governance standards and best practices.
- Monitor and report project KPIs, milestones, and status to stakeholders.
- Oversee infrastructure setup, application modernization, and data migration activities.
- Drive cloud cost optimization during and after migration.
- Ensure business continuity with minimal downtime during migration execution.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
