Title: ePPDS Functional Consultant

Contract Duration: 08 Months Contract

- Position is 100% Remote

Required Experience

- Minimum 8 years of SAP functional consulting experience.
- Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects involving Production Planning, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Planning.
- Strong experience in SAP ePPDS solution implementation and support.
- Experience supporting global manufacturing and supply chain organizations.
- Proven experience leading workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design activities.
- Experience working with both business and technical teams throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

SAP ePPDS Solution Design & Delivery

- Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and business process workshops with manufacturing and planning stakeholders.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP ePPDS solutions aligned with Kimberly-Clark's global supply chain strategy.
- Analyze current-state planning processes and develop future-state solutions that improve production scheduling and manufacturing efficiency.

Create and maintain:

- Functional Design Documents (FDD)
- Business Process Designs
- Configuration Documentation
- Test Scripts
- Training Materials
- Support full project lifecycle activities, including design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare, and production support.

ePPDS Functional Expertise

Provide expertise in:

- Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (ePPDS)
- Detailed Scheduling Board
- Capacity Planning
- Resource Planning
- Heuristic Planning
- Production Orders
- Process Orders
- Finite Scheduling
- Campaign Planning
- Constraint-Based Scheduling

- Work closely with manufacturing, planning, and supply chain stakeholders to improve planning accuracy and production efficiency.

SAP Integration & Collaboration

- Collaborate with SAP functional teams across:
- SAP MM
- SAP PP
- SAP SD
- SAP QM
- SAP EWM
- SAP FI/CO




- Support end-to-end process integration between procurement, production, inventory, and distribution processes.
- Work with technical teams on system integrations, interfaces, enhancements, and data validation activities.
- Participate in design decisions to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions.

ABAP Troubleshooting & Technical Support

- Analyze and troubleshoot SAP system issues involving custom developments, reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Read and interpret ABAP code to identify root causes of issues.
- Support ABAP developers by providing functional guidance and helping diagnose technical defects.
- Execute debugging sessions when necessary to validate business logic and process flows.
- Review technical specifications and ensure developments align with business requirements.
- This role is not expected to write ABAP code but must be comfortable navigating and troubleshooting ABAP programs.

Testing & Deployment

- Lead and support:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Coordinate business testing activities and validate solution readiness.
- Support production deployments and post-go-live stabilization.
- Resolve defects and coordinate issue resolution with development teams.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing planning and scheduling processes.
- Drive adoption of SAP best practices and planning standards.
- Support supply chain transformation initiatives and future roadmap enhancements.
- Recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency and system utilization.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Information Systems
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Supply Chain Management




- Operations Management
- Related Field
- Master's Degree or MBA preferred.

- Knowledge of planning data synchronization between SAP and Kinaxis environments.
