PAN India (Candidate must be based in India) Experience Required: 7+ Years (Overall SAP / Enterprise Software), with deep expertise in SAP ESG & Sustainability Solutions Work Shift: Indian Standard Time (IST)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ESG / Sustainability Consultant with 7+ years of total software implementation/consulting experience and a strong focus on SAP’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) software suite. This is a remote, contract-based opportunity operating within the IST shift. Note: We are specifically seeking independent consultants or professionals who currently work in remote setups and have the schedule flexibility/bandwidth to successfully manage and deliver on an additional project assignment during IST hours.

Key Responsibilities
• ESG Solution Implementation: Design, configure, and implement SAP Sustainability solutions (e.g., SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT), SAP Product Footprint Management (PFM), SAP Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), and SAP Responsible Design and Production (RDP)).
• Data Integration & Architecture: Integrate sustainability data across core enterprise functions, establishing connections between SAP S/4HANA (FI, MM, SD, PP) and SAP ESG platforms to pull carbon accounting, energy, and governance metrics.
• Regulatory & Framework Alignment: Help clients automate ESG reporting aligned with global frameworks (such as CSRD, GRI, TCFD, ISSB, and GHG Protocol).
• Customization & Reporting:



Define functional specifications for RICEFW/extension objects, analytical dashboards, and custom ESG KPI tracking.
• Client Advisory & Hypercare: Lead client workshops, build ESG reporting roadmaps, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide post-go-live hypercare support. Technical Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of overall SAP consulting experience, with dedicated hands-on project delivery experience in SAP ESG / Sustainability modules or SAP EHS/Energy Management.
• Core Competencies:
• Solid expertise in SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT) and SAP Product Footprint Management (PFM).
• Deep understanding of GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions calculation and reporting).
• Hands-on familiarity with data integration pathways between SAP S/4HANA master data/transactions and ESG modules.
• Operational & Analytical

Skills:
Proficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for ESG dashboards, cutover planning, and multi-system data validation.

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Computer Science, or Business Administration. Candidate Expectations & Bandwidth
• Availability: Must be fully available to operate and deliver key outputs during IST shift timings.
