Salvan Studios is a GST-registered marketing agency specialising in the F&B; industry, helping restaurant brands grow their organic audience through strategic, storytelling-led Instagram content.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a full-time Lead Video Editor who understands that great editing isn't about flashy transitions or excessive effects — it's about storytelling, visual taste, pacing, and making every frame count.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit approximately 60 short-form reels per month, with the following approximate split:
- 65–70%: 12–18 seconds
- 30–35%: 30–35 seconds
• Translate storyboards into engaging, well-paced videos with strong hooks and clear storytelling.
- Have a robust understanding of food colour grading — making food look appetising while maintaining each brand's visual identity.
- Use music, sound design, B-roll,
and transitions purposefully.
- Maintain visual consistency across different client brands.
- Handle very minimal text animations and motion graphics whenever required.
- Follow creative direction, implement feedback, and consistently meet deadlines.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgment.
✅ Excellent food colour-grading and visual correction skills.
✅ A good eye for aesthetics, composition, pacing, and detail.
✅ Ability to understand storyboards and execute them independently.
✅ Proficiency in professional video editing software.
✅ Reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.
IMPORTANT
We're not looking for template-based editors who rely on trendy effects. We want someone with genuine creative taste who understands why a video works, not just how to edit one.
