We're looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor who understands storytelling, pacing, and visual presentation and can deliver polished edits that meet qualified standards.

Role OverviewAs a Video Editor at DraftHouse, you'll work on short-form video content, typically around 30–40 seconds per video. You'll be provided with a reference video and asked to create a demo edit as part of our selection process. Candidates whose work meets our requirements will be considered for actual projects.

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos with strong storytelling and engaging pacing.
- Follow provided references and creative direction.
- Maintain high standards of visual quality and consistency.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions when required.
- Deliver completed videos within agreed deadlines.
- Ensure the final output meets the project's requirements.

Required Skills & Tools
- Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
- Strong video editing fundamentals and storytelling ability.
- Good understanding of pacing, transitions, and audio-video synchronization.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow creative instructions.




- Reliable communication and commitment to deadlines.

Compensation
- Rate: ₹400 per finished minute of video.
- Typical video length: approximately 30–40 seconds.
- First actual project: Payment within 7 days of completion.
- Subsequent projects: Payment cycle of 20–40 days.

The rate is based on the final video duration, not the time spent editing. Selection Process

3. Submissions are evaluated based on editing quality, storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
4. Selected candidates may be offered actual projects with DraftHouse.
