We’re building the tools to see inside everything opaque.
StoneForge Research is starting with infrastructure, using electromagnetic imaging to reveal what’s hidden inside structures without breaking anything.
That’s step one. Next come reusable rockets and aerospace structures, then sensors for physical AI: giving robots a way to see inside things, and inspecting the robots themselves as well. Underneath it all, we’re building toward total sensing: RF, acoustics and other modalities fused together, cheap, fast and valuable enough to be everywhere.
We’re hiring our first dedicated RF engineer. You’ll own RF at StoneForge and work directly with the founders.
What you’ll do
- Decide which antennas fit which applications, and make the design calls
- Design phased and MIMO arrays for imaging many points at once
- Simulate antennas and wave–material interaction (HFSS or similar)
- Debug hardware in the lab and in the field
- Be our point of contact with external RF design and manufacturing teams
- Work with RF PCBs and front ends, and understand how they interact with the array
What we’re looking for
- BTech/MTech in ECE/EEE, either a recent graduate or a few years into industry
- Strong fundamentals in EM, antennas and array theory
- Hands-on EM simulation experience, plus working knowledge of RF PCBs and lab equipment (VNA etc.)
- A track record of building things. We care more about what you’ve built than where you studied.
Bonus: radar or microwave imaging, MIMO systems, DSP basics. Bangalore, on-site.
