Profile: Production Head

Experience:

- 7-10 years of total experience in manufacturing/production, with minimum 3-4 years in CVD diamond manufacturing (essential)
- Experience in production management, CVD reactor operations, and diamond growth processes.
- Experience in handling production teams, achieving targets, and maintaining quality standards

We are looking for an experienced Production Head to manage the day-to-day production of CVD-grown diamonds. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth machine operations, maintaining diamond quality, achieving production targets, handling the production team, and improving overall manufacturing efficiency.

Roles:

1. Daily Production Management

- Plan and manage daily production activities according to company targets.
- Monitor the complete CVD diamond production cycle and ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Allocate work to team members and supervise daily operations.
- Track production output and resolve operational issues.

2. CVD Machine and Process Monitoring
- Supervise CVD reactor operations and ensure machines are running efficiently.
- Monitor significant process parameters such as temperature, pressure, gas flow, and growth conditions.
- Identify technical problems affecting diamond growth and coordinate troubleshooting.




- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime

3. Diamond Quality Control
- Ensure diamonds meet the required quality standards for size, colour, clarity, and growth.
- Coordinate with the quality team to identify defects and production-related quality issues.
- Take corrective action to reduce rejection rates and improve diamond quality

4. Team Management
- Manage production operators, technicians, and supervisors.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor employee performance.
- Train team members on production procedures, quality standards, and safety practices

5. Production Planning and Reporting
- Maintain daily production records and prepare production reports.
- Monitor production yield, machine utilization, and wastage.
- Analyze production performance and take steps to improve productivity.
- Coordinate with management regarding production targets, challenges, and requirements

Qualification:

- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry may be considered with relevant CVD experience.
- Diploma holders with strong hands-on CVD production experience may also be considered.
