Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts in the personal care and wellness product categories. Daily activities include maintaining strong relationships with distributors and retailers, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring timely order processing and delivery. The role involves coordinating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and supply chain to address client needs, resolve issues, and support promotional activities.

The Account

Manager will track market trends, competitor activities,



and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and support strategic planning. Regular reporting on account status, sales forecasts, and performance metrics is expected.

Qualifications

- Strong account management and client relationship skills, with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders and maintain high service standards.
- Experience in FMCG, personal care, or related consumer products, preferably in sales, key accounts, or business development.
- Solid analytical and reporting abilities, including proficiency with MS Excel and basic CRM or sales management tools.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, with solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of regional market dynamics and willingness to travel within assigned territories as needed.
