We are seeking a Value Management Engineer to support Value Engineering and cost-optimization initiatives for highly engineered mechanical products within the Completions product line.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Value Engineering and product cost-reduction projects.
- Review engineering drawings BOMs specifications manufacturing processes and cost data.
- Identify improvement opportunities in materials machining tolerances standardization localization and Design for Manufacturing.
- Develop technical feasibility assessments and cost-saving business cases.
- Coordinate with Engineering Manufacturing Supply Chain Planning and other stakeholders.
- Track project actions implementation progress and realized savings.
- Prepare technical reports dashboards and management presentations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes and Value Engineering projects.
- Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to interpret drawings BOMs and specifications.
- Experience with Creo Windchill and GEMS.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to highly engineered mechanical products or oilfield equipment.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturing product cost reduction SAP or Power BI.
