Role Summary:
Looking for a self-motivated Senior Engineer with strong engineering fundamentals and knowledge of Trade Compliance. The role covers HTS classification Country of Origin (COO) USMCA/FTA qualification technical review team coordination and stakeholder support.
Qualification & Skills
B.E./ in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
3 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of lighting products components drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Working knowledge of HTS classification COO Rules of Origin and USMCA/FTA qualification.
Positive analytical communication coordination and time-management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; SAP S4 hana and QuickBase exposure is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assign HTScodes for lighting products parts and accessories.
2. Analyze BOMsand determine tariff shifts and Country of Origin.
3. Perform USMCA/FTAqualification and mineral analysis.
4.
Review team deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
5. Coordinate work allocation priorities timelines and monthly targets.
6. Guide team members and support onboarding and knowledge sharing.
7. Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
8. Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
9. Escalate delivery quality capacity and compliance risks when required.
Team Responsibilities
The Senior Engineer will provide day-to-day technical guidance coordinate team activities review outputs monitor deliverables and ensure operational continuity. This is a functional coordination role and may not include formal people-management responsibilities.
On-the-job training will be provided for specific processes and applications.
