Provide electrical design support for custom industrial machinery by producing production-ready electrical documentation and control panel designs.
For Lead position
We are looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to lead end-to-end electrical design activities for industrial machinery and automation systems. The role requires strong expertise in electrical schematics control-panel design component selection BOM preparation machine safety applicable UL/IEC standards and design reviews.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Create wiring diagrams and BOMs
- Select electrical hardware
- Update legacy documentation and updates
- Support UL508A/NFPA 79/NEC compliance
- Coordinate with Controls Engineering Manufacturing and Purchasing
Qualifications
- 5 years industrial electrical design
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Machine control system design
- PLC I/O VFDs servo systems safety circuits
- ETO setting experience
Preferred Experience
- Allen-Bradley/Rockwell
- UL508A and NFPA 79
- Plastics extrusion or converting
- Industrial automation and machine safety
