Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Video Editor to join our creative team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling, composition, and design. You will be responsible for creating engaging graphics, editing high-quality videos, and developing compelling visual content for social media, branding, marketing campaigns, and studio projects.

We are looking for someone who can transform creative ideas into visually impactful designs and videos while maintaining consistency with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

- Graphic Design: Create professional graphics, social media creatives, posters, banners, thumbnails, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Video Editing: Edit engaging reels, short-form videos, promotional films, project showcases, and other digital content.
- Motion Graphics: Develop basic motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video content.
- Social Media Content: Design and edit creative content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.




- Visual Storytelling: Transform raw footage, project visuals, and creative briefs into compelling visual narratives.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs and videos align with Reel 9 Studios' visual identity and quality standards.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative directors, animators, VFX artists, and marketing team to execute creative concepts.
- Post-Production: Handle video trimming, transitions, music synchronization, sound effects, basic color correction, and final exports.
- Asset Management: Organize design files, video footage, templates, and project assets for effective workflows.
- Creative Research: Stay updated with current design trends, editing techniques, motion graphics, and emerging creative technologies.

Required Skills & Software

Graphic Design

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Canva (optional)
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, and color theory.

Video Editing & Motion Graphics

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Knowledge of video transitions, pacing, audio synchronization, and color correction.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

- Basic understanding of 3D animation, CGI, and VFX workflows.




- Experience creating cinematic showreels and portfolio videos.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools.
- Ability to adapt content for different social media platforms and aspect ratios.

Qualifications & Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in graphic design, video editing, or related creative fields.
- Strong creative thinking and visual communication skills.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and execute them independently.
- Prior experience designing creative materials for government departments, public institutions, and official events, including banners, hoardings, standees, backdrops, posters, and other promotional materials, while adhering to government branding guidelines and design standards.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new software, techniques, and creative workflows.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating graphic design and video editing skills is required.
