Job Description Safety Officer

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Degree in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / Occupational Health and Safety.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering with a recognized safety qualification may also be considered, subject to project and statutory requirements.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of site safety management and hazard identification.
- Experience in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
- Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statement reviews.
- Experience in contractor safety management and monitoring high-risk activities.
- Knowledge of PPE requirements, emergency preparedness, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
- Understanding of applicable Indian safety regulations and statutory compliance.
- Positive communication, coordination, reporting, and documentation skills.
