ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER (ARM)

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) to support the

Restaurant General Manager in driving restaurant operations, people development, customer satisfaction, and

business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and safety.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, operational processes, and food safety standards.
- Monitor key restaurant KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance.
- Ensure proper inventory management, wastage control, and cost management.
- Handle opening and closing procedures as per company standards.

People Management

- Lead, coach, and motivate Team Members and Shift Managers.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of restaurant employees.
- Prepare and manage staff deployment and shift rosters.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and employee performance.
- Build a positive and engaging work environment.
- Identify potential employees and support their career development.

Customer Experience

- Ensure excellent customer service and a positive dining experience.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
- Monitor service standards and take immediate action to resolve customer concerns.
- Drive customer satisfaction and improve store ratings.

Business & Performance





- Support the RGM in achieving sales, profitability, and operational targets.
- Monitor sales, labour cost, food cost, and other restaurant KPIs.
- Analyse performance gaps and implement action plans.
- Drive sales through effective execution of promotions and local store initiatives.

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company policies.
- Maintain statutory and operational records.
- Ensure adherence to cash handling and security procedures.
- Support internal audits and implement corrective actions.

Candidate Profile

- Qualification: Minimum 10th / 12th pass; graduation preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in QSR, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar operations.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with a strong focus on service quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
