Job Description:-
• 3+ years of embedded software work on real hardware.
• C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Bare-metal MCU development: startup, peripherals, interrupts, memory, board bring-up.
• An RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr or ThreadX, including scheduling, ISRs and real-time constraints.
• Device drivers, and serial interfaces like UART, SPI and I2C.
• Working knowledge of embedded Linux / Yocto, and of Python.
• Sound basics in physics and engineering. A ventilator is a pneumatic system, and you need to understand flow and pressure to write good firmware for it.
• A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechanical or a related field.
Valuable to have:-
• Control systems experience on embedded hardware (closed-loop control, PID, sensor-actuator loops), and modelling in MATLAB or Simulink.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304 or ISO 14971.
• RTOS and embedded Linux on the same product.
• College competition teams like Formula SAE, Baja SAE, Robocon, AUV, RoboSub, RoboMaster, Solar Car or drone teams. We value this a lot, because people from these teams have usually built something end to end and seen it fail.
